Exterior Style

Honda created a modern masterpiece with striking style for the HR-V exterior. An optional honeycomb grille adds aggressiveness to the front fascia, and the LED headlights, daytime running lights, and fog lamps let you see and be seen. In addition, you can add chrome to the front grille for a refined presentation.  Soft curves and sweeping lines accentuate the sporty styling. Side sills and a wide stance provide an athletic appeal. Honda offers a variety of 18-inch wheels to suit any taste. Additional touches include the rear roof-mounted spoiler, LED brake lights and taillights, and a power liftgate. Plus, you can add roof rail crossbars, window visors, and other accessories to make your HR-V your own.

Available Trims

You can choose from four trim levels on the HR-V. The entry-level trim LX includes silver-painted alloy wheels, premium cloth seats, a multi-angle rear camera system, and second-row Magic Seats, all for $21,870 MSRP. The next trim up, Sport, comes with exclusive sport alloy wheels. In addition, the Sport trim includes upgraded in-vehicle tech, paddle shifters, and sport pedals. Finally, grip the leather-wrapped steering wheel and thumb through the gears for a thrilling drive for only $23,820 MSRP. Building off the lower trims, the EX model adds refined comfort and sophisticated technology. A one-touch power moonroof opens up your adventures. The starting MSRP of $25,070 includes Smart Entry with Walk-Away Auto Lock and the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assist systems. Honda’s premium EX-L model includes all the comfort and convenience features to rival any luxury vehicle in its segment. Leather upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel all add sophisticated style. You also benefit from the upgraded infotainment system with a 7-inch display audio touch-screen. In addition, luxury driving has never been more affordable with the EX-L model’s $26,670 MSRP.

Power To Perform

The go-anywhere HR-V uses a responsive and efficient powertrain, Honda’s 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder engine. This engine uses 16 valves with i-VTEC and multi-port fuel injectors. Honda combined this engine with their continuously variable transmission that delivers smooth, effortless shifting and power-on-demand. This powertrain puts out 141 horsepower and 121 pound-feet of torque and gets you up to 34 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg around town. You can opt for Honda’s Real Time AWD system for exceptional control or keep the capable front-wheel-drive system for fuel better economy. The AWD system continuously monitors your traction and control. When the system senses you need more traction, it automatically sends power to the rear wheels to keep you in control, no matter the road conditions. You also get Honda’s Eco Assist system, noise cancellation technology, the electric parking brake system with a brake holding function, and Hill Start Assist.

Interior Features

Drivers love the ergonomic design inside the HR-V. Honda placed all your controls within easy reach, enabling smooth, intuitive function. You can add leather upholstery, heated seats, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel for a more refined look and feel. The HR-V comfortably seats up to five passengers and still offers plenty of cargo space behind the second row. In addition, the second-row Magic Seat split-folds to allow for longer cargo items.

In-Vehicle Tech

Honda includes the latest in-vehicle technology to keep you connected wherever you travel. Your 7-inch touchscreen comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth capability. With these technologies, you can make calls, access your favorite apps, get navigation information, and more, hands-free with basic voice commands. Depending on the trim, you’ll get a four or six-speaker audio system with up to 180 watts of power. Honda includes an HD radio and a free trial subscription to Sirius Satellite radio’s thousands of programming options on the top two models. HondaLink and Pandora come standard on the Sport, EX, and EX-L trims. With HondaLink, you can also download the app and remotely operate your HR-V using your cellphone.

Honda Sensing

The top-tier EX and EX-L trims come with Honda’s suite of driver-assist systems. These systems use a combination of radar and optical sensors to monitor your HR-V’s surroundings and alert you when they detect a hazard. For example, a Forward Collision Warning system scans the way forward and alerts you to potential obstacles using visual and audio cues. Should you fail to react, the Collision Mitigation Braking System engages emergency brake support to help mitigate or avoid a possible accident.  Honda’s Lane Keeping Assist and Lane Departure Warning systems track your vehicle within marked lanes. If these systems detect an unintentional drift, they send an alert. Should you not react, the system provides gentle steering correction to help you stay in your lane. In addition, Honda’s Road Departure Mitigation System uses the same technology to keep you from veering off the road entirely. In addition, you get Honda’s Adaptive Cruise Control system. The ACC uses radar and cameras to keep your HR-V at a preset speed and distance to the vehicle ahead. When the traffic ahead slows, the ACC automatically slows your HR-V while maintaining the same distance interval. The system returns you to your pre-set speed when the way forward clears. Performance Kings Honda understands what drivers desire in a compact SUV. That’s why you’ll find plenty of HR-V models in various trims and at prices to fit any budget.
